Rachel and Bill had the challenge of planning their wedding all the way from California. Their love story began in Kansas City, and they knew Kansas City was the destination for their wedding day. One look at Longview Mansion, with the help of her mother coordinating photos and virtual tours and they knew this was their wedding venue.

Rachel and Bill’s style was full of romance, class, and whimsey. The wedding dress and veil by Hayley Paige featured a low scooped back and a gorgeous, full train. Rachel incorporated the serene color pallet of barely blues, lush greenery, and the classic black and white with pops of fresh cut Anemones by florist Victorian Gardens by Amy Cason.

The pavilion was transformed into a dreamy, garden, greenhouse with greenery draped from the gorgeous chandeliers. Rachel and Bill had a mixture of farm house tables in Tuscany rows and round guest tables with crisp, white linens. The place settings with rentals from Ultra Pom had a mixture of rustic wood and modern metals. A special note from the bride and groom with a sprig of fresh rosemary added a special touch. We were swooning over the handcrafted, copper table numbers. Guess who made them? Her dad!! Made with love, for sure!

The night ended with dancing, dancing and more dancing! No one wanted the party to end, but when it came time to send the newlywed couple on their way, their friends and family parted the path in a beautifully lit up sparkler exit dream. Congratulations to Bill and Rachel! Your Kansas City love story left us with the fondest memories at Longview Mansion.
